A lot of libertarians would piss themselves with glee at the prospects.

I see the coming congressional battle as on the right as the dominant Social Conservatives vs the Libertarian Conservatives allied with the Liberals on Socal issues. The other fight will be the economic one once the Republicans have enough votes to be able to phase out some of the pork without losing control of congress.

The Social conservatives will kick themselves out of office if they get too involved in stopping abortion. It's OK to talk it to get the Religious vote, but if they deliver it hands the left a winning issue. People are not willing to go back to back office abortions.

The economic battle will be very difficult, and will be almost impossible to win.
