I think you all need to calm down !! I have read all the posts and the latest from ASND. It seems obvious that the rise was due to the CEO's comments of being positive for the 4Q. Afterall, look at the time the rally started, prior to that we were dead. This buyout by Lucent is old news or old rumor. Just another reason of speculation for the rise, created by trader hysteria. I don't see much more upside here, I belive that smart money will be moving in for the short sell at every pop. Buy now on buyout ? Big mistake. It seems more likely to sell on this rise and buy back when it evaporates, afterall, ASND can still warn, we still have 26 days of this Q to go.
