Senators Hope to Threaten China With Tariffs
A bipartisan group of senators wants to get tough with China if it doesn't revalue its currency.

Unhappy that China doesn't let its currency float freely on world markets, the senators this week unveiled a proposal to impose a 27% tariff on Chinese goods.

They also hope to prod China to change its currency practices by stripping it of its special trading status.
