Faulting on line 10+50 50 m from hole 6 (mentioned in the release) shows there has been post-emplacement tectonics which could have structurally prepared a zone-of-weakness into which a sulphide-rich melt was injected from a lower magma-chamber, and this is now the 2.5 m thick 10% Ni bed. This would explain why the sulphide bed is above and not at the base of the gabbro-norite intrusion where it should occur if it was a true differentiate and not a secondary fracture-filling.
