Great Stuff! This is the kind of posts we need. I was impatient with Robert because I hate to see these threads turn into sporting events where you cheer for your team and try to banish anyone who even mentions the competition. When I make investment decisions I want to know as much about the competition as I know about the company I'm investing in.

Now I must come to Richard Dopkins defense. I have seen with my own eyes a government document that makes reference to a higher standard to become effectve in 1998. It did not specify what the new standard would be, only that it would be higher. I don't remember the date of the document, but seem to recall that it was one or more years old. I think I found it on the Bimetric Consortium site. I will try to find it again and post it here.

Finally, I don't think anyone ever said FINX has FBI certification. The facts are that they are nearing the end of that process. Obviously, no one will know the final outcome until the FBI concludes the testing. And then the FBI will probably only make it available to FINX.

Thanks again for a good post. I don't think anyone following this technology is deliberately distorting the data. It is just that it is very difficult to get, and frequently you get different answers depending on who you ask.
