Hello!

From what I have heard, Modesto demo will be on a "IA-64 simulator" since the chip doesn't yet exist in working form. Tbere are 3 sessions at BrainShare regarding Modesto:

A Preview of Modesto Architecture
Kernel Programming Beyond NetWare 5
The Path to 64-bit computing: Merced/Modesto

Each of the first 2 sessions are for developers, the key points being developing software for the next generation 64-bit NOS while the last one concentrates on Modesto's development to take advantage of the new Intel chip. It's all very technical even to me but I'll poke my head in. There's no mention of porting the NetWare OS to any other manufacturer's chip (such as a RISC chip or AMD).
