My IE 5.0 keeps crashing. I get the following, Iexplore

"This program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down, if the problem persists, contact the program vendor." I proceed to close that box and another pop up,

'Microsoft Internet Explorer'

" There was an internal error and one of the windows you were using will be closed. It is recommended that you save
your work, close programs and then restart your computer."

I am running IE 5.0 with no past problems. I have no problems with and AOL browser or Netscape 6.2. Is IE 56.0corrupted ? or is there an easier fix?

TIA, Cruz
