I've often wondered why large companys in this day and age of class envy and litigation didn't do classy advertising to the effect of "Hey, we're in your pension plan". I'll bet there isn't a pension fund manager on the planet that doesn't have Microsoft, General Motors, etc. But from experience I know that most people do not know what companies are in their company/union retirement plans. This includes college scholarship funds that are invested in the stock market. Students protesting Exxon probably don't know that Exxon helps pay their tutition. Well, I think the big boys ought to tell them. These lawsuits are going to multiply and the jury pool needs some education. It's one thing to advertise "Where do you want to go today" on the computer and quite another to inform "Hey, we're part of your financial future"?
