according to a bcs brown-noser...."a playoff at college football’s highest level would lead to more injuries, conflict with final exams, destroy the bowl system and diminish the importance of the regular season"

well , the other division's of football have a playoff system that interferes with final exams. in any case, how many of these scatterbrain f-ball players actually even open a book in their whole college career anyway? answer---none

BCS needs to go now and those responsible for it should be tarred, feathered and flogged!

with 4 undefeated teams at end of regular season, the BCS bowls (or bowels) needs to go and replaced by a 16 or 8 team playoff. the others below them would then play in the bowls or bowels.

as a result of this bogus BCS system, you now have the final game with two teams who haven't played in a month.

an 8 team playoff would have been great and could have started 3rd week of december. In such playoff i would have included PENN STATE, FLORIDA, ALABAMA, OHIO STATE, BOISE ST, TCU, CINCINNATI, TEXAS.
