I am hearing a lot of talk on X that the Market has not discounted the war in the Middle East. Allow me to tell you what the Market has discounted and not discounted. First of all, USA is much more energy independent than in the 1970s and early 1990s ( Iraq War). Secondly, Market is discounting a likely Israeli victory. The risk, of course, is that the US joins Israel and strikes Iran, which will provoke the later to attack US bases in the region. The advantages of eliminating the Iranian nuclear threat are very bullish for the US and Israeli stock markets, especially the later.
