Kerry has voted against some really stupid waste of money weapons systems like the MX Missile. Many conservative republicans joined him in those votes. Kerry has also voted FOR every other weapons system Bushies accuse him of voting against. In other words, the charges are groundless than he's in any way weakened our defense. There aree some weapons systems we not only don't need but a huge booddoggles and wastes of money. Bush's favorite system, SDI, doesn't even work despite tens of billions on it down the drain.
