Indeed Intel's are not high end, and achieve their marketshare through, for a lack of a better term, bundling with their procs, motherboards and have a lower cost. However, as far as the monopoly position, I am not sure if AMD would be seen as the monopoly player in graphics as easily as Intel in procs. Depends if the powers that be see discrete graphics as um....a discrete market.
