Gentlemen, please forgive me for butting into your conversation about AEOS, but I've been wild about this stock for some time and I've been looking all over the place for some "stock buddies" who want to closely follow AEOS. The only other message "thread" I have found on AEOS is over at the Motley Fool web site.
I first started following AEOS about 2 years ago and have been making a very nice profit on it ever since. I've simply been amazed that more folks haven't been taking advantage of this wonderful opportunity to make an outstanding return on their investment capital. I've come to the conclusion that there is definitely a lot of "broker bias" as well as ignorance concerning AEOS. If you look at the recent announcements concerning retail sales, you'll see that AEOS is simply unmatched in same store sales. The Motley Fool web site has a nice listing of all the recent STS announcements and AEOS is simply blowing everyone else away. And yet, after hearing some of the retail analysts' comments about other stocks, you'd think that AEOS didn't even exist. I really do believe that a lot of the analysts have been recommending other retail stocks that aren't doing nearly as well as AEOS and they're doing a major "hype" job to make their clients think that a 7% to 12% STS increase is a fantastic number. And there are definitely a lot of ANF snobs who think that AEOS is beneath their consideration. You know, kind of a "poor man's" ANF.
That's just fine with me, of course, since I sure want folks to invest their hard earned cash wherever they wish. But I can honestly say that investing in AEOS has been the closet thing to a "sure bet" that I have encountered in the stock market in the past 2 years. The only thing that's going to stop AEOS within the immediate future is a radical change in the market. The American consumer is really spending like crazy and, for the time being, AEOS has the right marketing formula and the right product for the times. AEOS is going to be opening some 80+ stores in the coming year and if we're all careful to watch the overall market sentiment, AEOS will once again prove to be a BIG winner for investors.
Anyway, I sure hope you don't mind me jumping into the discussion, if for no other reason than to say "Hi - AEOS has sure been making lots of $$$ for me!" I live in the city of Madison, Alabama (right beside Huntsville). I am a relative newcomer to the world of individual investing and, thanks to the wonderful world of web investing, I am slowly but surely building up my trading skills.
If I can pass along any good info to you guys I'll certainly be glad to do so. I got bitten by the "option bug" a while back and stocks like AEOS are exactly what I am looking for : Very strong companies who continue to capture an increasing share of their sector. I'm usually on and off the web all day long, looking for news and info about AEOS in particular, its retail sector, and anything else that might derail AEOS' progress. While I certainly invest in other companies besides AEOS, American Eagle has made my investing experience much more fruitful. If I could find 10 companies like AEOS (and, yes, they're out there somewhere), I would be able to retire in just a few years!
My sincere apologies for this VERY long message, but I've been dying to talk with some folks about AEOS and its amazing rise to success. Here's hoping that you both will make some serious dough in the coming months.
Best wishes and Happy Trading,
Tom Cale Madison, Alabama |
