I saw the articl as well. I tend to agree with your comments. It would make more sense for Molson"s or Intebrew to acquire Sleeman's rather than squelch them. Somewhere I read it would be cheaper for a major to acquire Sleemans rather than launch a new brand. Nevertheless, it is worrisome to see the price of Sleeman,s slowly slide.I wonder if it has something to do with interst rates or whatever. The company seems successful...if selling all you produce can be called that.Hopefully, it will turn around soon. I did see a projection of $12 in a write-up.
