To all: I talked to Legato about the merger with FTSW. I called Legato November 2 and left a message to call me back and was called back November 4, 7:45 AM Pacific time. I was told the exchange rate was set at 0.143 FTSW for 1 LGTO so no surprise increase in stock or options from FTSW. Legato has been working with FTSW and their products for one year now so it would seem they know that FTSW's products will integrate with Legato's products. He wouldn't tell me what was going to happen with FTSW's management. Forgot to ask if the closing date was set.
I think as we get closer to the closing date the discount in FTSW will become smaller. If Legato doesn't keep to much of FTSW's management this deal could help earnings. What are the chances of LGTO being bought by one of their customers? I think some of Legato's customers resale Legato's software with their products.
