You are raising many hypothetic questions . If you think that that there is risk free investment buy CDs
If you feel that you common book is only $6.00 or so buy MIR-A which is selling 50c on the dollar. Yields around 12% and converts to 1.83 shares of common. Softie raised question about PE of MIR and how they can grow 10-15% in the year 2004 and forward. They are reinvesting alot of cash which they generate which will give them earning growth. For 2002 and 2003 they will use cash to complete projects which which can even cash flow loss of sold projects and potential lower power selling prices. But going forward they will have the least leveraged balance sheet with d/e 50%.
