Merger Monday

Mergers were not confined to the multi-billion varieties.

Network security software firm Symantec (SYMC: news, chart, profile) announced a deal to buy information technology service provider On Technology (ONTC: news, chart, profile) for $100 million in cash.

SCB Computer Technology (SCBI: news, chart, profile) said it agreed to be acquired by systems integration specialist Ciber (CBR: news, chart, profile) for $90 million in cash and stock.

InterActive Corp. (IACI: news, chart, profile) announced an agreement to buy Anyway.com, a France-based subsidiary of Canadian packaged tour operator Transat, for $62.7 million.

In addition, Avaya (AV: news, chart, profile) said it agreed to sell its Connectivity Solutions business to broadband cable maker CommScope (CTV: news, chart, profile) for $263 million in cash and stock.
