The conclusions add to other evolving evidence that may finally force many paleontologists to reconsider their long-held belief that modern birds are the direct descendants of ancient, meat-eating dinosaurs, OSU researchers say.... No doubt as the pieces of how evolution works continue to be brought to light (by scientists I suppose, since they are the only ones studying these things) wacko creationists will continue to point fingers and RIDICULE previous scientific efforts... and seek to root out the 'evil' texts that might contain them. DAK Off Topic: Interesting how so many project their own mindset onto others... to the wacko creationist these "crude precursors" or incorrect theories or hypothesis would be something to be embarrassed of or punished for. Meanwhile, they seem fine with attrocities or (if you don't believe that really happened... like the crazy Iranian guy) wild claims in the name of religion easily findable today... like the Pope's infallibility... a priests ability to absolve sin where the parishioner can't on his own... that only through church XYZ can you find god... no one else can get to heaven. You'd think these crazy wacko's would have SO MUCH more untruth or evil to root out than worry about evolution!!!! Too funny!! DAK
