In units I served in...very few requested ballots. Voting age was 21 when I was in. I got out when I was 21. The level of education is much higher now, which makes a difference. I think the fact that so many are unhappy with the way the Media reports on them will make a difference. I think the age reduction to 18 for voting was pushed by Dems who figured they would pick up most of the votes. Now it is coming back to bite them as the majority of younger voters are conservative and pro-war. Two thirds of the voters think we were right to go into Iraq. The Dems are operating as if that was not true.
