I was in Beaumont for Thanksgiving, and the police had to use pepper spray on the crowd over this item. Walmart and/or HP really flubbed it.
That bad, eh? TV showed some scenes that wouldn't certainly merit police intervention and arrests, though.

Initial reports were that each Walmart would have 150 to 200 units for sale.
In some states (such as CA) they HAVE to give a rain check at the sale price, so "running out" won't cover them. It does seem to prevent problems like these. Maybe the state legislature there needs to get busy. An ad for a much-wanted item at a bargain price with way too low a supply is just an invitation to trouble.
