I disagree. State colleges and Universities are subsidized by the American taxpayer. Scholarships should be given to American student athletes, not foreign student athletes. Students begin with a talent and college athletic programs teach kids how to become better athletes.

Teaching foreign kids how to become better athletes while given them a free college education should be done by their native country, and subsidized by their own taxpayers. We have plenty of kids from underprivileged homes in the United States who could use that scholarship as a leg up in life.

Unless the foreign athlete wants to pay back their free education by serving in the U.S. Military.
