Skipper, I think that every time you get swept along by romance you also have the benefit of all the wisdom you acquired from your mistakes and misjudgments of the past, and that as long as you continue to be willing to take risks, you will end up okay. Passion is an essential part of life for most of us; don't give up on it!!! I can sure understand that after the outside relationships which ended your marriage, you may be reticent to open your heart again, but perhaps you just need a little more time to heal before you venture forth again. If both of you had affairs, my sense is that there was something essential missing in the marriage. Better luck next time!!! Christine
