I agree that there should not be any censoring of the message boards. And I spend most of my time on the Intel board since that's been where most of my cash has been tied up for the last few years. There is an unbelievable amount of Intel bashing by the AMD folks (and vice versa) so you have to sift out any good info. But anyone who makes investment decisions solely on the basis of what he reads on message boards should not be investing IMHO.

BTW I notice a lot of talk about options on this thread. I highly recommend the use of LEAPS. Last year, for example, I bought 10 INTC 01/01 120's at 37 1/2 which turned into 20 01/01 60's. I then bought another 10 at 10 1/2 after the stock dropped. Earlier this year I sold 10 at 81 and then 10 more at 88. After the last split I still have 20 contracts at 30 that are trading around 45. I did similarly well on some CSCO leaps a few years ago. The leverage is fantastic. Assuming of course, that the stock goes up.
