I think the investment in Java is for future but not for now. Doing a spell check over the Internet is funny since the speed is far behind the local program. But it could be a good approch once the hardware/software get improved in the next 10 years(or longer). Look at the tough road that MS Windows walked through in the early days. It is not so bad to be an early bird.

BTW, thank you for you suggestion in MSFT.
