I agree with letting the company know you have a complaint. I have found that it is amazing how many companies don't realize they have a real problem because no one gripes to them. Often you get a small reward for letting them know. For instance, once I got a bad batch of Yoplait yogurt containers. The bottom kept falling out. Since I was usually sitting down when this happened it was pretty embarressing. Anyway, I called them to let them know. After telling the the code that was on the cans, I received a certificate for 12 free cans. They told me I was the only one that had complained, but when they checked they found the whole run was defective. So it saved them a bunch of aggavation. Another example was some sampling equipment I ordered for work. It contained some rather sophisticated glassware. However, when I tried to put it together I found that it didn't fit right. Now, I could have rigged it up, but I called them to let them know. They called back and told me that their whole run was defective and thanked me for catching it and letting them know before they shipped them out to additional customers. I got a price break on the next item I bought.

Anyway, didn't mean to right a tome, but let them know.
