Nitromed says CEO, CFO resigns Tue Mar 21, 2006 7:28 AM ET March 21 (Reuters) - Drugmaker NitroMed Inc. (NTMD.O: Quote, Profile, Research) said its chief executive officer and chief financial officer resigned on Tuesday. The company in a statement said Michael Loberg resigned as president, CEO and director, while Lawrence Bloch resigned as CFO and chief business officer. The company did not provide any reason for the resignations, but said Chairman Argeris Karabelas has been named interim CEO and Kenneth Bate appointed CFO and chief operating officer.
