Hi John,
Didn't mean to further frazzle your poor nerve endings~ I'm really the most tolerant person on SI, although I am a stickler for accurate spelling and correct grammar when it matters. I think the company should be grateful for these corrections! If they don't care that they have put up a sloppy site, then I'd be surprised. It should matter a lot to them. CSHK is a small company attempting to build itself into a credible entity. NO company in that position can afford to put anything in the public eye that appears less than professional or competent. It reflects badly on their ability to produce a professional product.
Would I fire you for a thousand mistakes? If they were in a note to me during a meeting, of course not. If they were repetitive, lazy mistakes that should and could be avoided and that diminished the professionalism of our company's public image, yes, I would! That's not zero tolerance, that's just good management.
As for the quote--it just says that quality will tell. Actually my mother used to say it rather more plainly- "You can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear." I have no idea what the truth is in the Cashco saga! But only one thing ultimately matters---the products.
