Tom,

I would expect that Busto thinks there is a quick buck to be made
at the "support" side providing customers with Gandalf equipment a
basic level of swap and repair.

In the short term some people will be willing to pay a premiun for
support on their Gandalf gear to avoid fairly large capital
investments to replace it all.

Although GAN did farm out some of their support to IBM, there still
is a lot being done by GAN. (primarily in Europe and UK)

If this is Busto's thinking, there is some validity to it, BUT, I think almost everyone on this thread strongly doubts his ability
to manage it.

Either way, GAN is gone. I don't see any hope for the company to
come out of the Oct. 31 deadline.

Perhaps you know for sure, but did not Mitel buy the "Gandalf" name.
I have already seen signs and literature that proclaim
"Gandalf (with corp logo) a division of Mitel.
