Turns out you are not alone, UW. Here is an article by a veteran you may know.

That is Steve Sherman, the Special Forces archivist/historian. I know he was a Lt then so I just checked the annual records. Steve was the only 1st Lt Sherman in 5th Special Forces in 1968. I know him well.

I see Steve at every Special Forces annual convention. I have bought most of his books and he sent me a copy of his latest CD a few months ago. Steve was also very supportive of the Montagnard refugee resettlement over the past two years. One of his efforts got the Univ of Texas to award a full PhD scholarship to one of the refugees SFA supports.

Nice to see him published in a national media. Every SFer knows about Steve, his RADIX Press, and his phenomenal reputation for digging and uncovering the truth.
Steve's historical data provided essential information to prove CNN and the Time rag completely fabricated the Tailwind Story. Both retracted the story, and Peter Arnett was fired. Steve has many other similar wins.

I'll have to congratulate Steve. In the meantime, he has the Kerry story right.

The thought occurs to me that SFers hold leadership to a higher standard of integrity than many others seem to do.
Clinton lowered the bar for presidential integrity...We must get it higher again.
