Luc,
Computers over shadow the internet at Compaq. The Internet is helping to drive what Compaq does, but it is not deriving the majority of it's income directly from internet sales. Dell sells its computers to consumers directly over the Internet. Thus they could be looked at as a more pure Internet stock play. Although I am certainly on the the Internet using a Compaq computer.

What will make the difference is when Compaq turns to the corner with bottom line profits and then growing profits. That is what drives the Dell stock up. What drives us nuts is the current lack of profits on growing sales, and waiting for the DEC deal to be history.
