Hi Dealie -

>I really mean in general there is a shortage of parts not just for Agilent. Not just Agilent but all others are suppose to be experiencing problems with receiving parts.....He said we are just seeing the effects of 1998 production cuts.

I always wonder when I hear statements like that. It reminds me of LU who doesn't seem able to perform and keeps falling behind and NT which is just steaming ahead. (luckily I have NT and not LU.)

Methinks some of these guys are making excuses for not being on the ball and seeing where their sales were heading. 1998 was 2 years ago - I find it hard to believe that these red-hot industries are running with a 2-year inventory lag (that's 14 years in dog or Internet time!).

In general, anyone who is able to perform and increase production is going to beat those with excuses hands down.
