When the Palin news came out, NPR had on two commentators, one Dem and one Republican, deconstructing last night's speech. They announced the Palin pick and asked what the commentators thought.... Long pause. Asked if there were other better picks. The Dem said sure there are, Ridge for example. He's pro-choice!!! Well DOH!!! Ya think McCain is going to pick a pro-choice VP candidate and lose the base? Sheesh, these people have cotton between their ears.
