This may be earnings season, but we certainly can't expect any upside surprises in earnings to be reported. THe best that we can hope for is some optimistic forward looking statements from management. I that the market will starting heading higher due to the fed easy money policy and US Gov stimulus packages, but I don't believe that earnings announcements in this quarter are going to have that effect, since no one is going to earning any money this quarter (or probably even the next one).
