For sure the potential of the trade depends in part on the distance between resistance and support, and you always need to be away of the risk:reward ratio. The use of entry and exit stops are also important, as once the pattern is set up on the chart the critical price points can be identified. Also, if you are going to be doing these kinds of trades, you also need a good broker .... which, by the way, is usually the defined as almost any broker other than your own! :o)
