lilly, Wade Cook first peaked my curiosity on trading options with a free tape enfacizing cash flow, quick turnover, and dealing with the market as a business. He runs expensive seminars, has books etc, but I just followed his strategy on options and tweaked it a bit. All this trading on opt on splits, can be explained by thinking of this as a FORMULA, where fundamentals and technicals play a very little role. This thread has helped immeasurably in developing and fine tuning a strategy. All my plays still don't work out, but the ones I miss ususally teach me yet another lesson.
Look back to read posts by Brian Dodd, and Rick Ellis, should be helpful. Also check out http//www.wadecook.com
I have extra copies of his tapes, if you want i can send them. contact me by e-mail.
Also there are a couple of fee based news letters that list up coming splits, and select the most favorable, and maintain a portfolio on their actions. I'll get you their e-mail address if you want.
I'm currently holding shw calls due to split the 28th. I'm a little nervous.
Bill
Also a thread called <How to write covered calls-an ongoing case study> has helped chrystalize some of the knowledge that I've gained in trading options.
