Conclude Agreement on Laptop Repair Services
CHANTILLY, Va., May 20 /PRNewswire/ -- GENICOM Corporation (Nasdaq: GECM)
today announced that its service company, Enterprising Service Solutions
(ESSC), has concluded an agreement with Compaq Corporation to provide repair
and refurbishment services for Compaq's Presario line of portable computers.
The contract precludes GENICOM from releasing any pricing, volume, or duration
information.
Compaq will utilize ESSC's new, state-of-the-art logistics and depot
repair operation located in Louisville, Kentucky. The facility's close
proximity to an international transportation and logistics hub enables
Compaq's customers to secure 48-hour repair services from ESSC.
