Hi John - I hope so too <g>.I think you ve nailed it. A lot of companies got delisted after their stk price fell below $1 for more than 30days. That is another Naz rule. When I was playing around with pennies, I actually know them all, but I ve forgotten most of its regulations after yrs of nelgect <g>. Old age doesn't help <vbg>! The important point is that VARL will not go back to the NMS or SC mkt only if it fails to qualify. A financial filing at least removes one of the obstacles.
It is true that the pink sheet artists will kill you with their insane spread, and like you, I am very unhappy with the previous mgt. Even fools don't like to be taken for a ride! I am a bit befuddled by the general negativity against Mr Pappas [you said you weren't, so this is not directed to you <g>.] I don't mean this guy is an altruistic person. Naive as I may be, he is probably working for his own benefit.
I ve no interest to be VARL spokeman, much less an apologist, since like the longs here, I am merely a greedy investor so happen to hold the common stk in the company. However, face it, no matter what the mgt has done recently, there is only criiticism. I think it is a bit late for that. I mean, if we had heard something like that before the bottom fell off, probably many of us could ve gotten out --- and this thread would be gone silent <g>. So, you are right. It is too late, so, why beat up the messenger? Instead, let take things at their face value. If the current mgt did something right, point it out to fellow investors. If it did something lousy, alert others just the same.
best, Bosco |
