Why do you jump right away to authoritarian?

I picked two items, authoritarian and susceptible to hurt feelings. They were the first two to come to mind. I didn't intend them as a complete set. My phrasing didn't suggest a complete set, I don't think.

But since you posed the question... <g>

It seems to me that declaring questioning off limits, which is what the blasphemy tactic does, seems to me instinctive to an authoritarian. Blasphemy was the topic being discussed, at least by me, and the context for my comments. Declaring blasphemy is hardly the tactic of the easily annoyed.
