Edit: Barack is in trouble. He's not that good of a speaker. Pretty good for a black guy, I guess. Wasn't that Bidens assessment of Obama at one point?

I believe the words were "clean and nice-looking and articulate". True but unPC. But you're right, Barack's terrible impromptu and in my opinion, not all that great at set speeches either. The soaring rhetoric of last winter was a good Act I, but Act II is disappointing. I thought Bill Clinton's speech was better than Barack Obama's. Though the crowd at Invesco Field was cheering its head off. But I suspect they would have done so at anything - it was the symbolism of the moment, the nomination of the first black Democratic candidate for President, that sent them over the moon.

I can only think, what a thousand pities the party nominated this flim-flam artist instead of Colin Powell, who I suspect is a Democrat at heart, and might have been solicited by the party if it hadn't been taken over by moonbats.
