Sorry to respond so late.

My understanding is that George makes technology recommendations based on his understanding of how a company's technology fits in with what he perceives as the major technology trends. He has not made very many comments on the price of stocks, though lately I agree that he has made a few. Maybe his increased fame, and the sudden effect his recommendations have on the market is pushing him in that direction. Maybe his interest in a mutual fund based on his ideas is having that effect as well.

I still see that by far his main focus, though, is on the technology aspects. His stock comments seem to me to be offhand comments in 7 single spaced pages of company and strategy analysis.

The info has value to many different people who will use it in many different ways. I find it most valuable to gain a better, more detailed understanding of the major trends in the tech world and how companies and their products fit in. Others are making hay with his picks as short term investments and making a fast buck. I'm sure there are many other ways to use this info as well. I don't place value judgements on any of the uses. I just stated what I believe to be the approach George takes in his articles and newsletter, and that I clearly about the underlying technology.
