Happiest 4th of July: No fireworks, no computer, no crowded beach, no barbeque, just gathering of family members to whom I promised to be away from the computer for at least 24 hours: being banned had a silver lining.
A day to reflect how much we are blessed for being Americans. We live in a free country, in a the land of opportunity where a person could start from a complete zero to acquire the highest level of education and to accumulate assets. A full of joy is to watch my daughters-in-law get along very well, and they adore my wife of more than 3 decades.
The latest news shows that we are seeing the brighter and brighter light at the end of the tunnel. The love for our country and the desire of having her back on the right track towers any small frictions amongst good posters. I am glad to see Redfish and Raymond Duray back on the thread. The three of us might at times abrasive at delivering the messages, but that reflect our style, and having different personalities form a delightful rainbow.
James, Tim, Rats, Karen, and others who have asked for the unban, my appreciation for your efforts. Having caring cyber friends means a lot. And to Sioux: you can ban me again come labor day when I will be enjoying my days with my grandson. LOL |
