Though why remains a puzzle to me, I must say. Whatever the Obama magic is, it's totally lost on me. I just see a smooth talker (when on prompter) in the black preacher style.

And when he's not scripted and in front of a teleprompter, there are more ums, ers and ahs than come out of the mouth of a 15 year-old in the same time frame.

I haven't focused on it, but I bet he throws in the occasional "you know" as well.

And people say George Bush doesn't speak well.
