Really, I've lived in Fla since 1950 and never made a claim for Hurricane damage. My family has lived in Fla prior to the depression and they never made a claim. Its like anything else, the media ONLY prints the BAD NEWS. Incidentally, I have lived in S.E. Fla since 1972, thats probably the most likely place to be hit in all of Fla. Yes, I've been through a lot of Hurricanes but frankly, generally just a big wind that ends in a couple hours along with a lot of rain. Hows that compare to a SNOW BLIZZARD lasting weeks? jdn
