Just watched CYCH and Yahoo CEO on Louis Rukheyser's special Wall Street 1999 edition on PBS. Both did quite well. I think the exposure was probably more important for CYCH. Rukheyser pointed out that CYCH had been trading near $60 at one point in the spring and CYCH CEO said that the internet was not mature enough until recently. He pointed that estimates are for a tripling of internet sales and one click shopping for 1999, and that they are well positioned to help both consumers and merchants to operate more effectively and securely on the web. Hopefully CYCH will get re-discovered by all the Money Managers who were likely watching and rise back toward 60 again this year. PS-- the CEO was a bit stiff, but CEO-like (not unlike Rukheyser) and I think he came across conservative and no nonsense, which I guess is appropriate since his Company's job is making sure money flows over the internet securely and effectively. For those Money Managers looking for a new Internet stock or sector to put their money, maybe CYCH will be the next place they pour into...hopefully anyway.
