I've spoken personally with both Tom and his research director, Mike Graham. They've answered every question I've ever asked appropriately and professionally. I've never heard or felt one of those little internal "warning bells" go off (and I'm normally very suspicious of pretty much everything). Tom indicates a true love for his work and excitement in finding companies with great potential. He has always stressed due diligence and does not expect nor want his subscribers to just follow blindly (unlike the hypsters you find rampant on the net who tell you that this-or-that stock is "ready to rocket", but refuse to give you no indication of why). When the web page first went up, I wrote the address listed with some questions about the company and some suggestions about the design of the web page itself. Tom responded (on a Saturday night) within a couple hours with answers and thanking me for my suggestions and asking me for any other suggestions on the web page that I might have because he wanted it to truly reflect the company's mission. I've spoken with IR contacts for several companies recommended by Kostech, and only once have I ever heard anything that might even be construed as "negative", and that was only that Tom had misunderstood the availability of an audio tape to the public (and from what the person said, I could easily see where Tom had misunderstood - we're human. It happens.) The one and only thing that annoys me is that Tom has more patience than I do when it comes to stocks, but then again, most everyone in the world has more patience than I. *grin* But more importantly, in each of the companies I've chosen to do more research on from Kostech's bulletins (and no, it's not all of them), I have found reasons that support their reccomendations. Have I chosen to invest in all of them? No. Who could? Like the rest of the world, I have limited funds with which to do my speculative investing, and I keep my speculative investing distinct from what I consider my "nest egg" for retirement so my speculative investment money comes from what I consider to be disposable income in my budget. (Everybody should have a hobby. *grin*)
Hope that explains. And thank you again for your comments on CECN. I've found them very informative. (You, too, Jim.)
(Btw, I jokingly asked Tom once when he was going to take Kostech public. Joke's on me. Apparently he's thinking seriously about doing so at some point.) |
