"Blasphemy is an institutional construct related to ideas... (as apposed to) one individual asserting his control over his personal space So, for authoritarianism to be effective at blocking the questioning (or any) venue, the authoritarian must represent an entity that is genuinely in control of the realm... the cabbie over conduct within the cab or a governing body over it's populous. A big adult person can tell a little child person to go to his room for blaspheming. That might be the closest we come to personal authority, although with reference to higher authority.
