I don't know if you guys know any seniors trying to figure out the chimp Medicare Drug Benefit, but I do. They haven't figured out how to use it yet without getting screwed, but have figured out that it's a way to channel public money to drug companies!

Here in Utah, there are 18 companies offering three or four plans each. They all cost different amounts and have different coverages and benefits. One of the seniors I know, my next door neighbor, HAS to choose a plan because his former employer is cancelling his prescription coverage because OF the plan! So far, every way he calculates it, it will cost more than he can really afford.

The chimp will tell you the plan is voluntary, but he doesn't tell you that each MONTH you don't choose a plan, the cost goes up 1%!
