Let's not forget, John Slitz did an excellent job last year in marketing NDS, Netware 5, GroupWise, BorderManager, ZENWorks and other products that he was recognized as the Marketer of the Year for Novell's comeback. He created a consistent theme to the customers of what Novell "is" not was. His messages were not filled with hype but what Novell specializes. As the results, Novell accomplished what they said and many customers are turning back to Novell. The marketing messages are no longer going 5 different directions, but pointing to NDS: the Directory is the Network.
