Just how much msft stock does a person need to retire? A rough guide... Say you want a $50,000 income and Microsoft earns $1.30 per share: You'd need 38,500 shares to avoid dipping into your capital. Not encouraging, but it's one way of looking at it. Cheerios, PW.
