JYW, RE: <Petz, you maybe very good at doing software, but coming down to hardware, you know squat!>
I am no longer just a software engineer, I am a systems engineer. True, I did start as a software engineer, but when I kept finding better ways to do the hardware/software tradeoffs, they made me a systems engineer. As a systems engineer, I must know software, digital hardware, RF hardware, antennas, power supplies, analog hardware, you name it, I've got to know it. (Don't ask me much about antennas and power supplies, though.) I also have a patent on a supercomputer architecture, if you are interested, a patent that is referenced by more than 20 other patents.
